Fine scratches build up without you noticing: during washing, when dust is wiped off, from the brushes of an automatic car wash. One by one they are barely visible. Together they scatter the light, and a deep colour turns flat and grey.
Measure first, then polish
Polishing removes an extremely thin layer of clear coat, down to below the damage. So we first measure how much paint there is, panel by panel. Only then do we decide how far we can go, and where it is wiser to stop.
One, two or three stages
- One stage refreshes the paint and restores gloss on light wear.
- Two stages remove most of the wash marks and holograms.
- Three stages are for paint that deserves the maximum result, also tackling deeper scratches as far as is responsible.
Scratches that go through the clear coat cannot be polished out. We tell you that beforehand, not afterwards.
Then protect
Corrected paint is bare. We always finish with protection; for the longest-lasting result we recommend a ceramic coating.
