Most scratches in paint don’t come from the road but from washing. A sponge dragging grit around, a dry cloth across a dusty bonnet. A detail wash is about preventing exactly that.
How we wash
First we let foam soften the dirt, so most of it rinses off without touching the paint. Only then do we wash by hand, with one bucket for soap and one to rinse the mitt. Drying is done with compressed air and soft microfibre.
For coated cars
Does your car have a ceramic coating? A detail wash is the best way to keep it in top condition. We use pH-neutral products that won’t affect the coating.
